This is the effect after applying the silver coating twice. When there is light behind it, it shows a slight translucency, but it becomes opaque when viewed against the light. Since the graduation exhibition posters will be mounted on a white wall, the effect is just perfect!
* The laminated one could be successfully scratched off.
The next step is to print the top layer with the numbers and poster annotations. We are using black acrylic without adding dish soap. It dries surprisingly fast, and on Bobby's poster, a few small letters in the black annotation text were not fully printed. However, since this part will be scratched off later, it is not a big issue.
