P036→ Uneven surface & Bubbles...Medium & paper experiments (2)
Continuing from the previous experiment, I found that the matte paper with gloss medium could not be scraped off, but the laminated paper was very successful. As shown in the image, a light scratch easily removes the coating without any debris, and the scratched area is very clean. Based on this result, I proceeded to print the other posters in the same manner!
* The laminated one could be successfully scratched off.
Issues encountered with the silver coating midway:
1. Adding too much water and dish soap creates a lot of bubbles.
2. Adding too little water clogs the screen.
When there is too much water, the dish soap creates bubbles, resulting in this kind of pattern on the poster. Actually, I think it looks quite nice! However, too many bubbles reduce the coverage. Also, since almost every poster requires a varying amount of water to mix the silver paint again, the size of the bubble patterns differs from one poster to another.
